Tracey Martin's conflict of interest 'balderdash' - Peters

From Morning Report, 7:28 am on 3 July 2018

The Acting Prime Minister Winston Peters is defending the integrity of an inquiry into Wally Haumaha's promotion to Deputy Police Commissioner. The appointment process is being investigated after complaints he once spoke out in support of fellow officers accused of gang-raping a teenager. But the National Party says the inquiry is flawed from the start because Mr Haumaha once wanted to be a New Zealand First candidate, and the inquiry is being headed by New Zealand First MP Tracey Martin. Mr Peters talks to Susie Ferguson.
