'The better way is tax relief' - National criticises Families Package
The government's flagship families package which aims to lift nearly 90,000 children out of poverty came into force on Sunday. It introduces a payment for young babies and a winter payment for superannuitants and most beneficiaries. The package will cost $5.53 billion over the next five years, and National's promised tax cuts were scrapped to pay for it. National leader Simon Bridges talks to Guyon Espiner.
