Govt to lift loan cap for medical students

From Morning Report, 7:09 am on 2 July 2018

Medical students are breathing a sigh of relief, with the government announcing it will lift the student loan cap, so they don't have to find another way to fund their final years at university. But from January the first next year, that limit will be extended to 10 years for medical students and others studying dentistry, optometry or veterinary science. RNZ reporter Sarah Robson has the story.
