More businesses taking on apprentices

More businesses are taking on apprentices in a bid to train their own workers and overcome skill shortages and high workloads. The growth in on-the-job trainees comes at a time when polytechnics and universities are struggling for enrolments. Here's our education correspondent, John Gerritsen.
