Seventh person dies after Taranaki car crash

An eight-year-old girl who was critically injured in the horrendous car crash near Waverley on Wednesday morning has died overnight. She passed away in Waikato Hospital early on Thursday morning. The latest death brings the number of people kllled in the crash to seven. It includes a newborn baby. The only survivor from the two car crash, a woman, is still in a critical condition in Wellington Hospital. Robin Martin tells Guyon Espiner it's been difficult for police to contact next of kin.
