Turkey election: Erdogan to consolidate power with win
Turkish President Racip Tayyip Erdogan is on track to secure a victory in the country's first presidential and parliamentary elections. President Erdogan called the elections eighteen-months early and if he wins it will lead to a new executive presidential system with greater powers. As the votes are counted the pro-Kurdish HDP party has already passed the 10 per cent threshold required for parliamentary representation.
