US to announce withdrawal from UN Human Rights Council

The United States plans to withdraw from the United Nations Human Rights Council today. A full pullout by the US would leave the council without one of its traditional defenders of human rights. Our correspondent Daniel Ryntjes is at the State Department where the Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is set to make the announcement.
