Osaka quake kills three, unsettles locals
A New Zealander living in Osaka says the magnitude 6.1 earthquake that killed three people in the city was the longest he's felt in the ten years he's lived in Japan. New Zealander Tim Fieldes was shaken awake by the quake just before 8am on Monday (local time). He told Morning Report's deputy editor Kim Griggs that he knew immediately what was happening. The quake killed a nine-year-old girl as she walked to school and two men in their 80s.
