Building inspectors in short supply across NZ

As the Government ramps up its construction efforts to deal with the housing crisis, industry experts are warning the shortage of building inspectors could lead to another Bella Vista bungle. Last week the Tauranga City Council pledged to buy the development's 21 properties because of major construction defects.
