Teachers union appalled at govt's latest pay offer
Primary teachers say the government's latest pay offer won't do enough to keep senior staff in the profession. For first year teachers, the offer would take them from earning just under $50,000 a year to nearly $57,000 after two years. Liam Rutherford is the lead negotiator for the teachers' union NZEI.
