Roseanne revival cancelled after racist tweet
The revival of US sitcom 'Roseanne' has abruptly come to an end after the show's controversial star made a racist remark on Twitter. The tweet compared former White House adviser Valerie Jarrett to an ape, and also alleged Ms Jarrett has connections to the Muslim Brotherhood. Shortly after the tweet was published, the ABC network called Ms Barr's comments 'abhorrent', and said they'd decided to cancel her show. Our entertainment correspondent in LA is Brad Pomerance.
