'An absolute disgrace' Roxburgh Children's home to close
Central Otago Mayor Tim Cadogan is making a last ditch effort to get the government to fund the Roxburgh Children's home. The home is for children aged five to 12 and is due to close in a month. Mr Cadogan is urging people to go online and swamp the Prime Minister's office with a cartoon supporting the home. He tells Susie Ferguson it's "an absolute disgrace" the government is letting the home close after it pledged to improve conditions for children in New Zealand.
