Budget 2018: Boost 'not enough' for midwives

Community midwives have been telling the government the service is in crisis and rural midwives are getting out. Charlie Ferris who works in Central Otago says the Budget funding boost of $103 million over four years still won't be enough to stop some leaving. She spoke to our reporter Nita Blake-Persen about the increase including the 8.9 percent rise in fees for more than 1400 lead maternity carers.
