NZ one step closer to legal hemp seed as food

We'll soon be able to sprinkle hemp seed onto our muesli in the mornings. MPI and the Ministry of Health have just opened public consultation on amending the laws around the sale and use of hemp seed as food in New Zealand. Currently, New Zealand hemp producers are only allowed to sell hemp seed oil for human consumption. Cameron Sims is the founder of Plant Culture, a food company that specialises in hemp seed.
