Reserve Bank governor brings new style to the role

The Reserve Bank's new governor, Adrian Orr, made his debut yesterday on interest rates. As expected, Mr Orr left the official cash rate unchanged at 1 point 75 percent, and signalled the cost of borrowing will remain there for some time. But while much of the message remained the same, it was how he said it that was of most interest. RNZ economics correspondent, Patrick O'Meara discusses Thursday's event with Guyon Espiner.
