Ruatoria puts hope in medicinal cannabis potential

One of the poorest communities in the country is pinning its economic and cultural future on a medicinal cannabis company in the tiny East Coast town of Ruatoria. Hikurangi Enterprises hasn't got a licence to make the drug yet, but young families and great-grandmothers are jumping on board with the hope this potential new industry will revive the region.
