The country's largest maternity ward at Middlemore Hospital might have to close or face major disruption because it's a seismic risk. The board has just received an earthquake assessment of the earthquake-prone Galbraith building. This comes six years after internal emails, now obtained by RNZ, talked of the building collapsing in a severe quake.
