Middlemore knew of leaks two years earlier than claimed

Middlemore Hospital knew about extensive leaks, rot and mould two years before it says it did. The Counties Manukau DHB has said it was first alerted to leaking buildings in 2012 but in fact it was warned in early 2010. At this stage, quick action might have meant it could have sued the builder Hawkins over three or four leaky buildings, instead of just one.
