Creative drug smugglers a headache for testers

The increasingly inventive concealment methods used by drug smugglers are causing a headache for the government's research institute. The institute of Environmental Science and Research does about 1,500 tests annually to identify substances for Police and Customs. But the job now involves much more than testing simple white powder or crystals. Sally Murphy's report is part of RNZ's Broken Bad series: investigating meth use in New Zealand.
