Sexual abuse in NZ law firms: New survey launched

From Morning Report, 7:41 am on 30 April 2018

A group of lawyers has launched a new survey they say will draw out more details of sexual assault and harassment in law firms. The Wellington Women Lawyers' Association says its confidential survey is asking people, not just women, to name the firms where they were abused. Committee member Charlotte Shade is sharing her own sexual assault to encourage others to come forward. While summer clerking, at a different firm from where she is now working, Ms Shade says she was raped by a male colleague. Charlotte Shade tells Susie Ferguson her story.
