Govt delays promised GP visit subsidy

From Morning Report, 6:48 am on 30 April 2018

The primary health sector is pleased the government may delay plans to reduce GPs fees on July the first, as it gives it more time to prepare. Labour campaigned on reducing GPs visit by $10 from July 1, but the Health Minister has signalled that may now have to be phased in over time. The President of the Royal College of GPs, Tim Malloy, told RNZ deputy political editor Chris Bramwell, the most important thing is that the cost reductions are done fairly.
