Waihi Anzac event honours tunnelers, canaries
Canaries will have a special place in Anzac Day commemorations in Waihi tomorrow. The mining town is honouring the role of New Zealand's World War One tunnelers, and also of animals that served in wartime. Canaries and horses are expected in a parade through the town and local people will share their stories. Kit Wilson is one of the organisers. He talks to Guyon Espiner.
