Unions infuriated foreigners working on Transmission Gully

At least 100 workers have been brought in from the Philippines to work on Wellington's huge Transmission Gully project, infuriating unions who insist there are locals who can help build the highway. The migrant workers are doing mainly labouring work such as operating heavy machinery. Industry trainers say with better planning companies wouldn't have to look overseas.
