Russian hacking forces urgent warning from US, UK

The US and UK have issued a rare urgent joint warning about worldwide cyberattacks. American and British cyber experts say Russian hackers have been infiltrating government agencies and internet service providers through routers and firewalls, with millions of devices being targeted, including some in people's homes. Russia is denying involvement. In a statement the US & the UK said: "Russian state-sponsored cyber actors were behind this malicious cyber activity that aimed to exploit network infrastructure devices... The activity threatens the safety, security and economic wellbeing of the US, UK and international allies." Our political reporter Craig McCulloch is in London and joins us now.
