From spacey electro ballads to no holds barred rock, melody-infused pop, to monotone vocals and jangly guitars - the finalists for the Taite Music Prize have it all.
The awards, named after the late, legendary, New Zealand music journalist Dylan Taite recognise outstanding creativity in an album. Previous winners include Lorde, Ladi6 and SJD.
