NZ closer to EU trade agreement with French support

New Zealand has edged closer to a free trade agreement with the European Union, having won the support of France to begin negotiations in the coming months. But that's not a complete greenlight yet - another EU country could yet block the talks from getting underway. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern kicked off her diplomatic mission to Europe last night with an hour-long meeting with the French president Emmanuel Macron at Elysee Palace in Paris.
