Ardern hopeful about trade future with France

France has come out in support trade negotiations between New Zealand and the European Union going ahead. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and French president Emmanuel Macron have issued a joint declaration after an hour-long meeting in Paris. Ms Ardern says she was struck by the close alignment of their views, which proved they were "natural partners".
