Enrolments in teacher courses rise

Despite an increase in the number of people training to be teachers this year, principals are warning the teacher shortage isn't over yet. Warnings about a severe and growing shortage appear to have driven up enrolments with most universities reporting more students in their programmes this year. But principals say the numbers need to keep rising for several years to come.
