The opening and closing matches of next year's Rugby World Cup in Japan will be among seven matches to screen on free-to-air television. Spark and TVNZ have confirmed they've won the rights to broadcast the tournament.
Matches will be shown live through Spark's app, and TVNZ will show seven of the games for free, but it's not confirmed if any of these will be All Blacks games. Spark's managing director is Simon Moutter. He discusses the plan with Guyon Espiner.
