The weather didn't keep bidders away from the auction of Kiri Te Kanawa's personal art collection last night. Her collection sold for millions of dollars in Auckland. About a dozen of Dame Kiri's paintings, which have been on loan to the Auckland Art Gallery for more than 25 years, went under the hammer at the International Art Centre in Parnell.
