'Massive' fire burns overnight in Thames

Firefighters in Coromandel have been battling through the night to fight a large fire in an industrial area near Kopu in Thames. About 50 fire officers are still at the scene of Smart Environmental Limited - a recycling business in the area. Thames Area Fire Comander Aaron Waterreus is there, and tells Susie Ferguson large piles of wood chips have been helping to fuel it and high winds have been making it difficult to bring under control.
