Commonwealth Games: Pascoe wins second gold

From Morning Report, 7:43 am on 10 April 2018

A relieved Sophie Pascoe walked away from the pool with her second gold medal last night, ending her Commonwealth Games campaign two from two. Pascoe's victory capped off a huge week for her, which started with leading New Zealand out as flagbearer at the opening ceremony. She sucessfully defended her 200-metre para-swimming medley title from the 2014 Games over the weekend, before making it back-to-back gold in the 100-metre breaststroke last night. She easily won her heat yesterday with a new personal best time, but during the final she was very nearly chased down by the 17-year-old Australian, Paige Leonhardt. She says she knew she was being given a run for her money.
