'People will make mistakes' - Ardern backs Curran

From Morning Report, 7:27 am on 4 April 2018

For the second time in a week, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has found fault with the way her Broadcasting Minister, Clare Curran, has been dealing with RNZ.

Yesterday it emerged Ms Curran had suggested to RNZ chair Richard Griffin he could correct the record about her meeting with former RNZ news executive Carol Hirschfeld by writing to the select committee, telling him he did not necessarily have to appear in person.

That led to Ms Ardern saying it would have been "cleaner" if someone from the select committee or the office of the Leader of the House had passed on that message.

Ms Ardern speaks to Guyon Espiner about the ongoing saga from the Wellington studio.
