Aucklanders told double tax hike only way to fix traffic jams

Aucklanders who might be baulking at the prospect of a double tax hike to help fix the city's traffic jams are being urged to think again. The Government is looking at a raising fuel taxes by nine to 12 cents a litre to help pay for safer roads and more public transport. Transport blogger Matt Lowrie says it'll be tough for some people but he can't see any other option.
