Far North forestry track too scary to use daily - principal

From Morning Report, 8:50 am on 27 March 2018

For the second day , anyone wanting to travel to and from the top of the North Island has to drive a forest road around the washout on State Highway One under police escort. Yesterday we heard from local Sylvia Bryant who's been on Forestry Road she said it was scary and the road was not meant for little granny cars. Pukenui School Principal Carolyn Smith used the road on Monday. She talks to Guyon Espiner.
