Auckland lawyer John Eichelbaum has been censured and fined ten thousand dollars for bullying behaviour that included asking a female colleague to bend over through a window, down to the level of the skirting boards. In a summary decision, the Lawyers Standards Committee said Mr Eichelbaum's conduct was at the higher end of what's considered unsatisfactory. He was also censured and fined another ten thousand dollars after a complaint by another woman. RNZ reporter Sarah Robson has been reading the decision.
