Toi Art opens at Te Papa: 'A game-changer'

Te Papa's new art gallery Toi Art is being officially opened today and opens to the public tomorrow. The new art gallery will display works from the likes of Goldie, Lindauer, Ralph Hotere, Rita Angus and Colin McCahon. It spans two levels of the national museum, holds five new exhibitions, and cost $8.4 million. Te Papa's Kate Camp tells us the museum wants to make art more prominent.
