From Morning Report, 7:14 am on 16 March 2018

The UK, US, France and Germany have released a joint statement condemning Russia for the nerve agent attack in Salisbury. They've described the attack as an "assault on UK sovereignty", a "clear violation of the Chemical Weapons Convention", and "a breach of international law". The statement also calls on Russia "to live up to its responsibilities as a member of the UN Security Council to uphold international peace and security". UK Prime Minister Theresa May visited the site of the attack in Wiltshire earlier today. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has also directly spoken out about Russia's involvement in the attack.
