Toxic foam: Auckland councillors wait for details

Nearly two weeks after RNZ News revealed high levels of toxic contamination in Devonport's groundwater, Auckland councillors have finally had a briefing from government officials. The Defence Force discovered the contamination two years ago but did not let the council know. Neither was the council told the Defence Force was testing to see if toxic firefighting foam used at the Whenuapai air force base had contaminated the surrounding land and underground water. Councillor Penny Hulse speaks to Susie Ferguson about the issue.
