Hawking an inspiring teacher - NZ scientist
Renowned scientist Professor Stephen Hawking is being remembered as an influential and inspiring teacher. The physicist and author of A Brief History of time died yesterday aged 76. New Zealand data scientist Edward Abraham studied theoretical physics under Professor Hawking at the University of Cambridge in 1990. He told RNZ reporter Eva Corlett that Professor Hawking was personable and approachable, and was very involved int he student life at the university.
