More home-made yellow lines appear on Wellington streets

From Morning Report, 8:57 am on 14 March 2018

Last year we spoke to Wellington man Russell Taylor, who got sick of waiting for the city council to sort out the problem of parked cars blocking his narrow street he painted his own yellow lines on the road. It was twenty years before the council realised and citizen power won the day - the council made the lines official. Now another guerilla yellow-line painter's at work in Wellington - this time in the central city, where they've been creating their own loading zones. The city council's spokesperson is Richard MacLean.
