Black Ferns on NZ Rugby payroll but more games needed

From Morning Report, 8:27 am on 13 March 2018

The Black Ferns are officially on the New Zealand Rugby payroll. Yesterday the Rugby Union confirmed it will contract the country's top 30 women's 15-aside players. They'll earn a retainer of $12 to 20,000 a year, and a $2,000 a week "assembly fee" when they're together as a team. Kendra Cocksedge was the Black Ferns's halfback when they won the World Cup in Ireland last year. She was one of a handful of players who helped broker this deal. She talks to Guyon Espiner.
