'We need bold, drastic steps' to attract teachers - NZEI

Primary school principals and teachers begin nationwide meetings on Monday to plan a response to the crisis in recruiting and retaining teachers. The NZEI union want to use its collective agreement talks to find solutions to the crisis, including a significant pay jolt to address the growing teacher shortage. Lynda Stuart is the head of NZEI, and joins Susie Ferguson to discuss the negotiations.
