National MP's family facing charges of animal cruelty

Barbara Kuriger is remaining the National Party's rural communities spokesperson despite her husband and son facing charges of animal cruelty. Oxbow Dairies, a company which Mrs Kuriger has shares in, also faces the same 11 charges. Mrs Kuriger herself is not facing charges. She says her family holds animal welfare as one of its strongest values.
