The main US gun lobby group, the National Rifle Association, has responded to the Florida high school massacre by denouncing what it calls socialist politicians who want to destroy freedoms granted to Americans by God. Seventeen students and staff were killed last week when a lone gunman went on a rampage at the Stoneman Douglas High School with an assault rifle. As the gun debate in the US grows, Andrew Patrick from the Washington-based Coalition to Stop Gun Violence joins us with his reaction.
