'Spectacular' opening expected for NZ Festival

The New Zealand Festival opens tonight in Wellington with a performance of kapa haka, music and theatre on Wellington's waterfront The performance, A Waka Odyssey, has been inspired by the arrival of navigator and explorer Kupe in Aotearoa New Zealand. The Festival Director, Shelagh Magadza, who's stepping down after this festival, told Music 101's Yadana Saw the opening night will be spectacular.
