Ardern, Peters payments Ministerial Services' fault - Hipkins

From Morning Report, 8:42 am on 21 February 2018

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters have been overpaid $12,000 and $9000 respectively in accommodation allowances. Ministerial Services Minister Chris Hipkins says the department is to blame. Ms Ardern and Mr Peters live in the last remaining ministerial residences, and that was the reason they were the only two ministers with overpayments. Mr Hipkins tells Guyon Espiner it's unacceptable and he's initiating a review of the system.
