Midwives 'dread every shift' at ADHB - Nurses Organisation

Auckland City Hospital managers have been accused of ignoring midwives' concerns about a staffing crisis for at least two years. Midwives, as RNZ reported this week, say they're over-worked, stressed and unable to provide proper care to mums and babies. And now the Nurses Organisation has backed them - saying Auckland DHB's claim that it's providing an excellent standard is a far cry from what's happening on the wards.
