Hobson's Pledge 'confident' in fighting Maori wards
The lobby group Hobson's Pledge is confident it will have the numbers today to force referendums in four districts that are looking to introduce Maori wards. Its spokesperson Don Brash says there's no place for separate race-based political representation in New Zealand. But a former mayor says the government is allowing Hobson's Pledge to stir up and divide communities. Political reporter Benedict Collins has more.
