Auckland Council steps up kauri dieback fight

Patrols with enforcement powers could be headed for the Waitakere and Hunua ranges in new changes proposed by Auckland Council to combat kauri dieback. The council wants to extend closures to the parks and make footwear cleaning compulsory - with "stern penalties" for those who break the rules. The chair of the council's environment committee is Penny Hulse. She joins Guyon Espiner with the details.
